Pacing Verdict
The screenplay demonstrates strong narrative momentum through its first three acts, with the chaotic energy of the party and early filmmaking sequences creating a propulsive, exhilarating rhythm. However, the pacing becomes noticeably uneven in Acts 4 and 5, where the extended descent into tragedy—particularly the Blockhouse sequence and Nellie's prolonged dissolution—drags considerably, while the final montage and coda feel rushed and overly compressed relative to the emotional weight they're meant to carry. The dialogue rhythm is excellent in rapid exchanges but occasionally falters in more contemplative scenes, and the balance of tension and release is well-managed overall, though the screenplay could benefit from tighter editing in its later sections.

A story built on disruption that keeps returning. The inciting event and the reversal share the structural weight, the story is about what happens to a protagonist who cannot quite escape where they started.
