Pacing Verdict

The screenplay demonstrates excellent pacing, with a strong narrative drive that effectively balances intimate character moments against the escalating tension of Bob Dylan's artistic evolution. The dialogue rhythm is sharp and varied, from rapid-fire exchanges to deliberate pauses, and the scene-to-scene flow manages energy well, particularly in the build toward the Newport climax. The only minor rhythm issues occur in the middle act, where a few montage sequences and transitional scenes slightly disrupt the otherwise relentless momentum.

A story where the ordinary world refuses to stay in the past. Reversals keep redirecting the protagonist while the pull of stability keeps reasserting itself as a counter-force throughout.
