Pacing Verdict
The screenplay's pacing is generally strong, with a compelling forward drive through the fugitive narrative, but it suffers from noticeable inconsistencies. Act 4, the longest section, contains several extended, contemplative scenes (the horse, the cemetery, the sex scene) that, while thematically rich, temporarily stall the momentum of the chase. Additionally, the rapid-fire dialogue in early acts gives way to longer, more deliberate exchanges later, creating an uneven rhythm that sometimes feels like the screenplay is unsure whether it's a thriller or a meditative road movie.
