Pacing Verdict

The screenplay maintains strong narrative momentum, particularly through the escalating moral stakes and the efficient, rhythmic dialogue that drives scenes forward. The 5-act structure is well-served by clear act breaks—the eviction, the descent into the motel, the rise through Rick's world, the moral crisis, and the violent climax—with only a slight drag in the middle of Act 3 during the repetitive eviction montages. Tension and release are expertly balanced, with the final act delivering a powerful, earned payoff that never feels rushed.
