Pacing Verdict

The screenplay maintains strong narrative momentum through its 4-act structure, with each act having distinct emotional beats—Act 1 establishes conflict and desire, Act 2 deepens relationships and disappointments, Act 3 escalates tension and self-discovery, and Act 4 delivers catharsis and resolution. Dialogue is crisp and natural, with rapid exchanges that reveal character efficiently, while scenes flow seamlessly between intimate moments and broader social dynamics. The only minor rhythm issue is a slight drag in the middle of Act 3 during Lady Bird's suspension period, but the screenplay compensates with sharp, economical storytelling throughout.
