Pacing Verdict
The screenplay demonstrates strong narrative momentum, particularly in its efficient setup of the past trauma and the escalating tension between Adonis and Damian. The fight sequences are well-paced, with the surreal void in the later rounds providing a necessary rhythmic shift from the more conventional boxing choreography. However, the training montage in Act 3 (scenes 86-142) becomes repetitive and slightly drags, and the emotional beats in the final act could be tightened to maintain the otherwise excellent forward drive.
Narrative Archetype
A story where the pursuit is real and sustained, but reversal keeps reshaping its direction. The protagonist does not endure a single catastrophe but is continuously thrown and continuously recovers. Resolution arrives after a journey marked by disruption as much as drive.
