Pacing Verdict
The screenplay demonstrates excellent pacing, with a strong narrative momentum that builds through the three acts, particularly in the escalating tension between László and Van Buren. The dialogue rhythm is well-calibrated, shifting from rapid, anxious exchanges in the early immigrant scenes to more deliberate, weighted pauses in the later confrontations. While the montage sequences and some of the construction details occasionally slow the forward drive, the overall energy management—especially the devastating release in Act 3—keeps the story compelling without feeling rushed or dragging.
Narrative Archetype
