The screenplay maintains strong narrative momentum through its efficient use of voiceover montages in Act 1 to establish the marriage's intimacy, then pivots sharply into escalating conflict in Acts 2 and 3. Dialogue rhythms are expertly varied—from rapid, clipped exchanges in legal scenes to deliberate, painful pauses in intimate confrontations—creating a natural ebb and flow of tension.
