Pacing Verdict

The screenplay demonstrates excellent pacing, skillfully balancing dense, philosophical dialogue with quiet, contemplative moments and brief, impactful flashbacks. The 4-act structure is well-served, with Act 2's extended debate maintaining forward momentum through escalating emotional stakes and character revelations, while Act 4 efficiently accelerates toward the departure without feeling rushed. The only minor rhythm issue is a slight drag in the middle of Act 3, where the repetition of arguments and the extended hymn sequence momentarily stall narrative energy before the tension is effectively rebuilt.
