Pacing Verdict
The screenplay establishes a clear narrative drive and efficiently delivers its core emotional beats, particularly in the second half. However, the extensive childhood and teenage montage in the first act, while important for character, significantly slows the initial momentum and feels protracted. The pacing improves markedly once the central conflict with Wade begins, with well-managed tension, release, and a compelling third act.
