Pacing Verdict
The screenplay demonstrates excellent pacing within its 5-act structure, with a strong narrative momentum that builds through the present-day framing device and the extended flashback sequences. The dialogue rhythm is well-calibrated, shifting between rapid exchanges (as in the classroom scene) and deliberate, weighted pauses (particularly in the confrontations with Juana and the hospital scenes). While Act 3's extended flashback to the train and Xoan's death is masterfully paced, the middle sections of Act 2 occasionally feel slightly elongated, particularly in the domestic routines with Marian, though this serves the necessary accumulation of emotional weight.
Narrative Archetype
A story that ends in unresolved disruption. The incitement never converts into completion, the story rests mid-process, and asks the audience to sit with irresolution.
