Pacing Verdict

The screenplay maintains strong narrative momentum by using the therapy sessions as a framing device to weave between past and present, creating a rhythmic balance of tension and release. The musical numbers are integrated efficiently to advance character development and emotional beats, though Act 4 (scenes 82-145) occasionally feels overstuffed with montages and party sequences that slightly dilute the dramatic focus. Overall, the pacing is excellent, with only minor rhythm issues in the middle act where the excesses of fame are depicted with a bit too much indulgence.
