Pacing Verdict
The screenplay maintains strong forward momentum through Acts 1-2 with escalating set pieces and efficient scene-to-scene transitions, but Act 3 (Scenes 36-46) sags noticeably with repetitive monster encounters (the pedestrian monster reappearing, the puker sequence, the climbing abomination) that feel like padding before the hospital climax. The dialogue rhythm is generally snappy and the information delivery is economical, but the middle section's "monster of the week" structure creates a lull in narrative drive that the 4-act structure doesn't fully justify. Act 4 recovers well with the ICU sequence and the final twist, delivering a satisfyingly brisk conclusion.
